Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how HelloFeed (the “Service”), operated by the business that runs https://hellofeed.ai (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and products—including when brands collect video testimonials, when respondents submit content through magic links, and when you connect third-party accounts such as Meta (Facebook) or Google.

Who we are

For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at divyang@legion.is. Depending on your location, you may also have rights under local privacy laws (for example, to access or delete certain data).

Information we collect

  • Account and profile. When you register or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details provided by you or an identity provider (such as Google or Facebook).
  • Brand and workspace data. Information you add about your business, campaigns, integrations (for example Meta ad account identifiers when you connect them), billing-related metadata, and similar operational data.
  • Testimonials and respondent content. When someone submits a testimonial on your behalf, we may collect their name, email, optional business name, ratings, video recordings, audio, transcripts, and related files you or they upload. We may also store consent choices (for example agreement to use content in ads) and payout-related information where you enable those features.
  • AI and creative outputs. We process testimonial content with automated systems to suggest clips, captions, hooks, tags, scores, or other creative or editorial outputs to help you build ads.
  • Usage and technical data. We collect log data, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP, cookies or similar technologies, and how you interact with the Service (pages, features, errors, performance).
  • Communications. If you email us or use in-product messaging, we keep those messages and related metadata.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Process testimonials, generate AI-assisted creative suggestions, and deliver exports you request;
  • Connect to third-party platforms you authorize (such as Meta) to support ad workflows;
  • Bill and administer subscriptions or payouts where applicable;
  • Send service-related notices and, where allowed, product updates or marketing (you can opt out of marketing where required);
  • Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect rights and safety.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on appropriate bases such as: performing our contract with you; legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (for example securing the Service and improving features); consent where we ask for it (for example marketing cookies or specific integrations); and legal obligations.

How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who host infrastructure, databases, email delivery, analytics, payments, video storage and processing, AI model providers, customer support tools, and security vendors—under contractual obligations to protect data and use it only for our instructions.
  • Integrations you enable (for example Meta or Google) according to your settings and their policies.
  • Professional advisors, regulators, or others when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is defined under U.S. state privacy laws that use that term, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as described in this policy or with your direction through product features.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Testimonials and media may be retained until you delete them or close your account, subject to backups and legal holds. Some logs may be kept for a shorter or longer period for security and operations.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and safeguarding access to your account.

International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact divyang@legion.is. We may need to verify your request.

Facebook and Meta

If you use Facebook Login or connect Meta business assets, Meta may share identifiers and permissions with us as described in Meta’s terms and your Facebook settings. We use that connection only to provide features you request (for example managing ad creative workflows).

You can remove the app from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. If you request deletion of data we received from Facebook, Meta may notify our systems using the data deletion callback URL configured in our Meta app settings (an HTTPS POST from Meta—not a page you open in the browser).

After Meta sends a deletion request, you can use the confirmation link returned by our app or visit /data-deletion-status with the reference code from that message to check status.

Cookies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, analytics, and (where allowed) marketing. You can control cookies through your browser; some features may not work if you disable essential cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
